Explosition - Efrei Board Game Jam Winner 2024
A competitive puzzle game in which each player owns their own art gallery and has to fill it with pieces of art to create exhibitions and earn points. However acquiring art is expensive, and players will need to fund their exhibitons by placing adverts in their art gallery!
Each player's gallery is represented by a grid in which they will have to fit their art and the adverts that come in specific shapes. In a tetris-like fashion, they will have to strategically place tiles on their grid to complete as many exhibitions as possible. Once an exhibition is completed, all the pieces of art that composed it are removed from the gallery to leave room for the next one. However, adverts never leave! Once in the museum, they remain there until the end, so you must be careful when placing them in your quest to acquire more art!
This board game was created during Efrei's second board game jam for which the theme was "Autodestruction". The game won the public's vote and was awarded 1st place by the jury.
Pagaille en cuisine - Efrei Board Game Jam 2023 (2nd place)
A competitive planning and deduction game in which players are chefs trying to prepare meals in a messy kitchen, prone to hazardous situations.
Each turn, players plan their movements and actions in order to prepare recipes that are given to them. However, should two players bump into each other, their planned actions are swapped between one another! On top of that, this kitchen is home to rat infestations, fire hazards and other events that will complicate this cooking session!
This board game was created during Efrei's board game jam for which the theme was "Nothing goes as planned". The game was awarded 2nd place by the jury.
